Man alive the three of us are some serious lake people. Peanut slept for 4 hour stretches both Friday and Saturday night. Like his parents, he is much more relaxed at the lake and it was much appreciated after Wed. and Thurs. where he was awake and wanting to eat much of the day (growth spurt?)! The warm lake breeze was good for all of us... We listened to a lot of the new Coldplay cd, went out for dinner in Kingsland, enjoyed some fab-O Bacardi premixed mojitos (YUM)... and did some stargazing. I hate Sundays coming back to reality.
Tomorrow we are going to the ped. to find out if JM has reflux. I still don't know if he's just grumpy adapting to life or if he's in pain and it drives me crazy. I always want to be able to fix everything and since we don't speak the same languages, yet it doesn't work that way. He spits up quite a bit sometimes, but so do a lot of babies. Anyway, my 1) goal for the week is to chill out. His crying really gets me stressed out and I need to change my attitude and take it easier. 2) is to get him back sleeping in his crib more. they say you can't spoil a newborn, but there has been a lot of sleeping on or with mom and dad this past week and i'm afraid it is going to stick... (with being another thing i said i wouldn't do- ah, what you'll sacrifice for silence and sleep!)
