If you're going to get technical on me, you might note that Aaron is actually 5 months and 13 days. Oh you! He's closer to 5 months than 6 months, you know. So yes, we're sneaking toward 6 months. Aaron still remains amidst the most chill and most contented of babies. Five months didn't mark any milestones... When I think back on this time, I will probably not remember the many many nights of Aaron waking at 11:30. His little clock got stuck on 11:30pm and 4am wakings for quite a while, but knock on wood, the past 4 nights he is going down at 7 and sleeping until 5, going back down until 8. And, mama feels great. It's amazing what a few hours of sleep will do. Someday, we'll work on getting him to sleep straight through 12 hours, but for now, this is working for us.
I am dreading the 6 month mark! I'm not ready for solid foods, sitting, crawling and other movement that all comes so soon. For now we just savor this sweet phase of just mama's milk and laying around and nibbling on his toes. No moving allowed, mister!
My heart swells thinking about this precious child. I adore you, Aaron!
