Ah, the first day of school.... John Michael, so full of EXCITEMENT! Now that he's king of the mountain in the big kids 4's class, he was like "see ya, Mama!" at drop off, whereas Noah was not quite so sure about this.... I am still not completely on board with Noah at school, either, so I'm glad I got to stay for Noah's brief 90 minutes of school this morning. It was fun to watch him take it all in. I took a million pictures of his morning. He did great, but was completely wiped out at 10:30. JM, too, was pooped at noon at pick-up. It's going to take some time to get used to all this learnin stuff. And, I need to get out of summer mode and get myself used to getting the kids to school on time! I was 15 minutes late to their first day. Whoops! I got a little chatty with our babysitter for Aaron. I don't know what I'm going to do next year if JM has to be there at 7:30 when 9 is a challenge for me now. :)
Going to the playground. When they all held on to the little rings because they are in the "baby" class, I about lost it. He's too little for school!
By the time we got to the playground, he and I were both feeling better about things. I love the look on his face, here.
And, look at Mr. Big Stuff on the trike on the Slab! He's almost got it!
